On Saturday 19th September, Boat Services Ltd participated in the Bliss Corporate Abseil Challenge in London.
Boat colleagues’ nervously abseiled down the 550ft tall Broadgate Tower located in the city of London in an effort to raise money for Bliss, the premature and sick baby charity. “My legs were trembling, but it was a fantastic experience and all for an amazing purpose” said Aveny Patel, Client Services at Boat Services.
Bliss exists to ensure that all babies born too soon, too small or too sick in the UK have the best possible chance of survival and of reaching their full potential. The charity provides support for parents and families, work directly with doctors and nurses to improve care and campaign to ensure the needs of babies and their families are always heard.
